Reviews and Ratings
The hotel at the Grand Palace is on the small side but comfortable. Despite the room being a bit cramped for my tastes, the overall stay was pleasant. The temperature was perfect at 80 degrees, but unfortunately, the noise level was extremely high.
The hotel is quite old but my stay was very comfortable. The rooms were fabulous, with amenities you'd expect in a 5-star hotel room. The service was incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived, even upgrading us and allowing an early check-in. The location is superb, basically in the center of the old town. The dining experience was very good, with high-quality ingredients and warm courses catering to many tastes.
The hotel was nice and comfortable, but noisy from the street with revellers until 4 am. The rooms, though booked as a suite, were very small with just one window in the classic room, but all air-conditioned. The service was excellent, with comfortable beds, warm showers, and plenty of amenities. The location was perfect, super close to all the touristy spots. The dining experience was good overall, with a variety of offerings, but waiting for coffee was a downside.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were luxurious without being pretentious, but I wish the staff would smile more often. The location in the Old Town was superb, offering easy access to various attractions. The dining experience was something special, especially the breakfast, although it led to a bit of weight gain. The facilities were well-maintained, enhancing my experience.
My stay at the hotel was mostly positive. The rooms, while comfortable and clean, were a bit noisy due to street-facing location and took a while to address the heating issue. However, the service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff. The location was superb, ideal for exploring the Christmas markets in less than two minutes from Riga Dom. The dining experience was satisfying with well-prepared eggs and pancakes, although there were some issues with the restaurant ambiance. Overall, a hotel with great potential and some minor drawbacks.
